ABA in Schools:  Enhancing PD for Educators

This session will cover foundational principles of ABA, including reinforcement, shaping, prompting, and data collection. Educators will learn how to identify target behaviors, develop behavior intervention plans, and implement evidence-based strategies to address a variety of behavioral challenges in the classroom. Special emphasis will be placed on creating supportive learning environments, fostering social skills, and promoting academic engagement. This professional development session aims to equip educators with a comprehensive understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and its practical applications within school settings. ABA is a scientifically validated approach to understanding behavior and how it is influenced by the environment.
